To connect a VoIP phone to the internet, you usually need to plug it into a router or network using an Ethernet cable. However, some VoIP phones also support Wi-Fi, allowing them to connect wirelessly without the need for a physical cable.

Gather your equipment: You’ll need a VoIP phone (either an IP phone or an adapter for a traditional phone), an Ethernet cable, and a power adapter if the device isn’t PoE-enabled. Then, connect the Ethernet cable from the phone to your router, power it on, and allow it to complete the startup process.
